01 AWKN IIA was born from this quiet and ongoing exploration. Each piece is imagined as a vessel for meaning. A creation might begin with a feeling, a shift in perspective or a moment of clarity. Some are drawn from lived experience, others from rhythm, movement or the lightness of everyday life. They do not carry the weight of symbolism alone. Often, they simply remind us that we are still feeling, still becoming.

The brand’s inspiration is rooted in duality: East and West, yin and yang, softness and strength, stillness and movement. Its design language brings together Eastern and Western philosophies, architectural rhythm and graphic form, reflecting a deep curiosity toward culture, aesthetics and the meaning of being.

Oliviia Yee Tsang Lee is a jewellery-based artist and the creative director of 01 AWKN IIA. She was born in Hong Kong and is now based in London.
She graduated from the Royal College of Art in Jewellery and Metal, and received the 2025 Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council Silver Award in 3D Design for Fine Jewellery. Her work weaves together her roots and lived insights, shaped by philosophical reflection, graphic form, and the tensions held between cultural dualities — deeply informed by her Hong Kong upbringing and evolving identity.
Before moving into jewellery design, Oliviia worked under a different name in Hong Kong’s entertainment industry for over a decade, spanning music, film and performance. That experience cultivated her sensitivity to form, rhythm and emotional nuance — qualities that continue to shape her approach to design as both expression and presence.
Having grown up between Eastern and Western cultures and lived between identities and contexts, she sees the limitless. Through 01 AWKN IIA, Oliviia designs jewellery not simply as ornament, but as a channel for expressing one’s inner state and the attitude of life.
